This month is The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, and the town comes alive over two weekends
and the intervening week nights with around 500 events featuring authors, poets, pundits, sportsmen
and women and stars of film and TV as well as a number of  politicians.
Most events are an out an hour long and ticketed individually, so you can dip in and out of events do a bit of shopping or
get a bite at one of Cheltenham’s wide range of top restaurants.
This year Hillary Clinton tops the bill, promoting her new book. It’s here only UK appearance outside her London event.
But if politics isn’t your bag there’s Mary Berry, Tom Kerridge,  Andrew Marr, Kirstie Allsopp, novelist Robert Harris,
Twiggy, cricketer Mike Brierley and and ex-SAS man Andy McNab, plus a host of children’s events too.

We’ve printed the programme for a number of years- take a look at it here, it’s a great line up this time-
and a fabulous way to spend an autumn weekend.
